Wheel Hubs

Diamond Precision Products® manufactures wheel hubs from ductile iron in single piece construction to combat the breakage that can occur in areas where traditional steel wheel hubs are welded. We manufacture all of our wheel hubs with your design needs in mind.

Our wheel hub machining capabilities allow us to produce wheel hubs and your components with bearing seats, fixed or keyed bores, splined bores, tapered bores, threaded holes for mounting bolts. It doesn’t stop here. We also offer a controlled process assembly and gauging of the components involved (i.e. bearings, wheel studs, mounting bolts).

Wheel hub Tolerance demands and quality standards are necessary to achieve a smooth running system. Diamond Precision Products® uses a process based system to significantly improve the tolerance band of assembled components. Tightly controlling individual components enhances the ability to keep the assembled component in tolerance.

Our Certified Product Wheel Hubs Consultants are available at all times to assist you in your design and to insure that you receive product for your specific application every time.

We encourage the emailing of wheel hubs prints during the quoting process. Prints can be forwarded to Diamond at dppsales@diamondprecision.com in PDF, DXF, and DWG formats.

When contacting Diamond Precision Products® for a quotation it is important to us that we offer you the best price and most accurate information.

Wheel Hubs Specifications that will be helpful in the quoting process include:

  • Shaft specifications of your component
  • Does the component require bearings? If so, would you like them supplied?
  • Will the component require threaded bolt holes or wheel studs? How many? Bolt circle diameter? Wheel stud size (if applicable)?
  • Pilot diameter of your application (i.e. What size is the center hole in the tire rim?)
  • We will need a reference point along the length of the shaft with dimensions for wheel alignment purposes.
  • Estimated Annual Usage (EAU) of the part
  • Material required
